We invite you to join us in celebrating the IMA’s 40th anniversary with our first ever gala dinner and silent auction on Thursday 23 July. Since 1975, the IMA has been one of Australia’s most vibrant non-collecting galleries, supporting over 2000 artists through more than 500 exhibitions. Works by leading national and international artists will be auctioned. Proceeds will support new artists commissions. Honouring artist Dr Robert MacPherson and art historian Dr Nancy Underhill To be honoured for their extraordinary and visionary contributions to the IMA, Brisbane, and Australia.
