German Gudrun Gut is Berlin music royalty. She has been at the heart of so many movements and influential projects it’s difficult to summarise her now three decade career. A founding member of Einstürzende Neubauten, Gut went on to form the now legendary Mania D and Malaria! outfits, whose work has resonated widely, influencing future generations of powerful feminist post-punk. As the head of Monika Enterprises, Gut has been responsible for releasing a wave of exploratory artists working at the nexus of song and experimentation.

For her performance with Andrew Tuttle at MONO, she layers audio and visual materials to create a throbbing mixed media experience.

Curated by Lawrence English/Room40.
