D. A. Pennebaker's film Town Bloody Hall documents a feisty 1971 public debate between Norman Mailer and four feminist writers, Germaine Greer, Diana Trilling, Jill Johnston, and Jacqueline Ceballos. Scott Stephens on 'The Sign of the Cross: On Blasphemy and Christian Art'. Stephens taught theological ethics at the Australian Catholic University, Brisbane, and wrote for the online journal Eureka Street. He has just been appointed Online Editor of Religion and Ethics and Chief Writer on Religious Affairs at the ABC. He co-edited two volumes of selected writings by Slavoj Zizek and is completing a book on Christology and the political.
