Event Material Entanglement in Architecture by Anna Tweeddale

Material Entanglement in Architecture by Anna Tweeddale

IMA Talk

18 May 2019
2-4pm

Developing the theme of material entanglement, architect and researcher Anna Tweeddale will talk about her creative research and practice as it resonates in current exhibition Haunt.

Tweeddale will discuss her current research into construction materials including concrete and aluminium, through a material feminist framework, looking at the ethical and cultural implications invoked by these everyday materials. She will locate contemporary construction as a fertile site of investigation into ways of living with/in an already damaged planet.
