MONO returns for 2020 with some deep listening and delicate audio explorations.
Canada’s Crys Cole, known for her intimate and exploratory sound works published via Oren Ambarchi’s Black Truffle label, returns to Brisbane to launch the series. For MONO 36 she premiere’s a new electro-acoustic work that brings together her interests in electronics, field recordings and subtle audible gestures. Joining her is Austrian sound crafter Werner Dafeldeckerand Australia video artist Scott Morrison, who collaborate together on Parallel Darks, a newly created sound diffusion paired with radically transformed video materials.
