Mono 46 is a triple bill of extended instrumental mastery.

With World in World, their recent record for the Black Truffle label, Julia Reidy crafted a unique work between the traditions of extended-song form, just-intonation composition, and exploratory guitar work. Their work merges hovering clouds of voice with clusters of open harmonic guitar flutters.

New York guitarist and occasional shortwave experimentalist, Alan Licht is a provocative improvisor. He is a member of Lee Ranaldo’s band Text of Light and a wealth of other legendary East Coast acts, such as Love Child. For Mono, he presents a series of solo-guitar works

Ulrich Krieger is a German-born, California-based composer and saxophonist, who has performed with Lou Reed in the Metal Machine Trio. Krieger’s work expands the capacity of his chosen instruments. Often conceptually driven, his performances are equally parts matters of physicality, gesture, and timbre.
