Join us for Queer Pride, an inclusive celebration of our LGBTQIA+ Arts Community, in partnership with Brisbane Pride Festival, Serious Queer Business (Lu Forsberg and Callum McGrath), and Goose Goose Ganda. Queer Pride is a free community event for all ages, with an afternoon of music, discussion, food, and performance. The event features the second iteration of Serious Queer Business, a boardroom-meets-town-hall event for diverse queer identifying individuals and artists. Join in and bring your concerns to this community meeting or simply tune in to what will be a topical and insightful discussion.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
