Haegue Yang: ‘Triple Vita Nestings’ to tour to New Plymouth, New Zealand

Haegue Yang Triple Vita Nestings will tour to Govett-Brewster Art Gallery | Len Lye Centre in New Plymouth, New Zealand 30 November 2018–17 March 2019.
On display at the IMA until 30 August, Triple Vita Nestings brings together selected works from more than a decade of Yang’s practice. These pieces straddle seemingly opposing artistic legacies and aesthetics, between conceptual art strategies and materially-driven craft techniques, industrial production and the handmade, and importantly for this exhibition, between figuration and abstraction.
