Hear from IMA Executive Directors Aileen Burns and Johan Lundh as they provide a guided tour of the current exhibitions, Lu Forsberg: Transparency and other worries and Tom Nicholson: Drawings and correspondence.

Concentrating on Adani’s proposed Carmichael Coal Mine and affiliated projects, Lu Forsberg’s Transparency and other worries probes our distanced relationship to mining.

Tom Nicholson’s Drawing and correspondence presents works from 2005 to 2018, focusing on both the histories and possibilities of drawing, and its relationship to writing.

Don’t miss your last chance to see both exhibitions and gain a special insight from the IMA Directors.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
