Join Jacqui Shelton via Zoom for her live reading of Enlarge My Coast, an essay commissioned by the IMA for Making Art Work. Following the reading, Shelton will be joined by artist Kinly Grey to discuss the ways writing and reading can be embedded in or parallel to an art practice, touching on the sociality of reading and learning during the pandemic as a way of connecting with others, attempting to think beyond personal experience, and the potential in doing nothing in the context of productivity-obsessed contemporary life.
