New look website!

26 February 2019

We are excited to unveil a fresh, new look website to kick off an exciting year ahead!

Alongside a refresh in our overall branding, we’ve updated the layout and functionality of the whole site. Explore our new exhibition pages and browse our online archive for a look back at your favourite IMA exhibitions; check out upcoming events and listen back to podcasts; browse the Gallery Shop for publications and locally-made gifts; stay up to date with opportunities and call-outs via our Get Involved page; and read up on the gallery’s prolific four-decade history.

As always, your support helps the IMA remains Queensland’s leading independent forum for art and its discourses. If you’ve been thinking about becoming an IMA Member or donating, visit our Support page to find out more.

If you have any feedback or come across issues with the new website, please let us know here.

Website by Leaky Studio.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
