Conscious Mic is a collective of artists, creative producers and cultural practitioners who focus on forward thinking Pasifika arts and sound. We curate art exhibitions and music events that empower and connect the artists we work with to communities, campaigns, networks and industry opportunities.

In Solomon Islands, ‘belama’ translates to frigate bird in the Roviana language. A skillful navigator possessing apotropaic qualties, the belama brings good fortune to fisherman as it hovers over schools of fish and warns of impending storms. Like the belama, we must heed Mother Nature’s warnings.
