Kingdumb + friends

Snack Pop-Up

06 July 2023
5.00PM–9.00PM

Kingdumb is the dual project of visual artists Olivia Chapman (Bugdumb) and Thomas King. With a shared love of fashion, fantasy, and friendship, Kingdumb invite you to see what they and their friends have been learning and creating.

Meet the artists, enjoy complimentary drinks, and browse an array of handmade treasures by friends Rose Alexander, Joseph BoticaMax Bubb, and Vincent Smith—including clothing, dolls, textiles, art, and more.

Snack is a pop-up concept store within the Gallery Shop designed to platform functional, affordable products made by emerging artists. Be the first to view and purchase new and exciting products, and get a chance to meet the talented makers.

Keep your eyes peeled for more Snack offerings on Thursday nights throughout the year.

Making Art Work

Book Launch

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
