Mamsir is a genderless jewellery brand run by Dan and Matt that embraces individuality. All pieces are crafted using solid sterling silver, solid gold, and lab-grown gemstones. Their Facets series uses lost-wax and 3D-modelling techniques, experimenting with shape, texture, light, and colour.

A feast for the eyes, Mamsir joins the IMA Gallery Shop for our next Snack pop-up. Enjoy a halo-halo as you peruse their wares. Toppings selected by Dan, just like their mum used to make.

Snack is a pop-up concept store within the IMA Gallery Shop, platforming functional, affordable products by local artists. Shop a taste of the local art scene and meet the makers.

Guest Info
  • Dan and Matt started their jewellery journey at a half-day workshop in 2021. They started collecting tools and experimenting with making jewellery for themselves and as gifts for family. In 2023, they became creative partners and Mamsir was born—a genderless jewellery brand.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
