Seoul-based curator Gahee Park is giving a lecture on her work. She is one of the curators of this year’s Gwangju Biennale You Must Change Your Life. She also worked at Seoul Museum of Art from 2013 to 2017 and from 2020 to 2025, as Guest Curator of the 2018 Busan Biennale Divided We Stand, and as Curatorial Research Fellow at de Appel, Amsterdam. Her shows include Sung Hwan Kim: Ua a‘o ‘ia ‘o ia e ia (2024), The Part in the Story where Our Accumulated Dust becomes a Mountain (2023), and Scoring the Words (2022). She approaches curating as a way of learning. Her curatorial practices seek to provoke ‘events of knowledge’. Her visit has been supported by the International Curators Program funded by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body, and the Keir Foundation.
