Join artist Hannah Brontë as she takes over the IMA courtyard with a tropical neon-lit wonderland titled The Venus Fly Trap. Brontë is an interdisciplinary artist based in Brisbane who explores female empowerment in music videos, banners, and performance, to challenge current societal structures and imagine matriarchal futures.

The evening will include performances by fierce female rappers Jesswar, Miss BlanksG.Elenil, Aywin, and Kaylah Truth, with DJ Damelia taking over the decks. For one night only, the IMA will be transformed into a diamante-incrusted lair that Brontë invites you to immerse yourself within, and join her as a performer in her live music video, becoming a part of the final artwork.

This is a free event. Register your spot on Eventbrite here.
