Gahee Park

Curator talk

7 October 2026
6pm

Gahee Park is one of the curators of the 2026 Gwangju Biennale You Must Change Your Life, which brings together artists who engage personal and collective histories as sites of transformation. Across her curatorial, research, and education work, she is interested in how exhibitions and programs can sustain art practices, learning, and relationships beyond their immediate duration. Join us for her talk, followed by networking drinks.

Park’s visit is supported by the International Curators Program, funded by the Australian Government through Creative Australia and the Keir Foundation.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
