Join Brisbane-based artist Rhiannon Dionysius for an afternoon launch in the IMA Gallery Shop and browse a collection of one-of-a-kind jewellery and handmade ceramic objects.

Dionysius uses mark-making as a signifier of the temporality, endurance, and labour inherent in the medium of ceramics to create delicate wearable art. Through her process-driven material and narrative play with ceramics, Dionysius reflects on personal and symbolic experiences of emotional and physical vulnerabilities, creating tender works for you to cherish forever.

Come along to meet the artist and browse a selection of existing and brand-new pieces.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
