Join local jewellery designer Rhiannon Thomas in the IMA Gallery Shop After Hours.

Browse a selection of Thomas’s latest creations in silver including unisex earrings and rings. Plus, for the first time, see a new range of brass objects.

Each piece is handcrafted in Thomas’s Teneriffe studio with the body of the wearer in mind. Rings are fitted to embrace the movement of the wearer, encouraging absent-minded play and awareness of the object as an extension of the body. Earrings are often sold in asymmetrical sets or individually.

Rhiannon Thomas’s pieces embrace imperfect forms and finishes inherent in the process of making and, in turn, the beauty of imperfection.

Join us at the IMA Friday 27 July from 6pm to enjoy a glass of bubbles, try on your favourite piece, and meet the maker.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
