Goodbyes and Hellos News

Goodbyes and Hellos

6 March 2017

After eleven years at the IMA, our bookkeeper, Jewel Mackenzie is retiring. The IMA will not be the same without her, but she deserves a well-earned break! We also wish former IMA Membership and Development Manager Ally Bennett all the best in her new role at the Queensland Ballet.

We are delighted to announce that Jenna Baldock is now Development and Touring Manager, and that Ashleigh Ralph will join the team as Gallery and Administration Assistant. You can read more about our staff here.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
