Join us to open this international exhibition, three years in the making. Curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Asad Raza, and Warraba Weatherall, This Language That Is Every Stone is the fourth in a series of exhibitions series conceived by Obrist and Raza that survey the work and life of prominent Martinican writer Édouard Glissant. Developed specifically within an Australian context, it explores cultural synthesis and permeability through Australian First Nations and diasporic artists, with contributions from international counterparts. A welcome to Country by Shannon Ruska at 6:30pm will be followed by speeches.
