Archie Moore 1970-2018
2018
Moore continues to challenge and inspire us with his deeply intelligent and sensitive approach to materiality and memory, as well as his constant attention to the junctures between Indigenous and non-Indigenous subjectives. Archie Moore 1970-2018 explores questions about personal and transgenerational memory. Moores’s largest solo exhibition is currently showing at Griffith University Art Museum and is complimented by this ambitious publication, including his first monograph. The publication includes Moore’s own writings as well as contributions from art historian and researcher Dr Toni Ross and respected journalist Steve Dow.
