Take your practice to the next level by learning to communicate your work clearly and confidently.

Learn the essential communication skills required to give your practice the attention it deserves. This workshop will equip you with the ability to speak and write about your work to a variety of audiences including the public, curators, and collectors.

Be ready to seize exhibition opportunities by learning how to write a professional artist statement, bio, and exhibition proposal. Gain confidence in speaking about yourself and your practice in front of an audience, including the best practice for giving artist talks, and the protocols for hosting a studio visit.

Bring along a draft artist statement to workshop during the session.

Cost: $20 for IMA Members / $30 for Non-Members
