Space Junk AKA “Outer Space” had a nice firm handshake and asked for the proposition for a collaboration. With eyes that teared with love and enthusiasm, we got deep into miss prints and deadstock apparel from tha Print Bar here in Meanjin. Piles of waste ready to be tampered with.

Space Junk is an initiative by Outer Space that sees local artists reimagine commercial waste into new creative outcomes. Presented in partnership with The Print Bar, artists are invited to repurpose mis-printed materials into new wearable items, artworks and objects.
