Misal Adnan Yildiz, Director of Artspace, Auckland, will talk about his current programme, focusing on relationships between artistic research, exhibition methodology, and audience. This is the third talk in the series What Can Art Institutions Do? Free for IMA members. Suggested donation for non-members $5.

Yildiz has been Director of Artspace since November 2014. Previously, he was Artistic Director of Künstlerhaus Stuttgart (2011–4), a curatorial collaborator for the 2013 Istanbul Biennial and manifested A History of Inspiration as part of Nouvelle Vagues (Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2013). In Stockholm, he participated in Curatorlab/Konstfack and collaborated with IASPIS. He produced solo shows of Slavs and Tatars, Cevdet Erek, Ahmet Ögüt, and Hito Steyerl, and group shows, including Correct Me If I Am Critical (Berlin, 2010), There Is No Audience (Montehermoso, Spain, 2009) and Time Challenger (HISK, Belgium, 2009).
