IMA Workshop Series

5 April 2018

Throughout April and May the IMA presents a series of professional development workshops designed to take your practice to the next level.

In our Communicating Your Practice workshop gain the skills needed to confidently talk about your work verbally and well as in written form through an artist statement, bio and exhibition proposal.

For those interested in learning some hands-on technical skills, try our Audio-Visual Installation workshop, where you will become a pro at setting up single- and multi-channel video and sound installations.

Open to artists, collectors and artsworkers, or anyone wanting to set up the perfect display hang, join our Hanging & Handling 2D Art workshop. Learn how to hang framed and unframed works and the best practice for artwork handling.

Workshops are open to everyone with an interest. Purchase your tickets via Eventbrite.
Tickets are $20 per workshop for IMA Members and $30 for Non-IMA Members.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
